Finally, I could check it with Apache, no cakephp-instaweb, and it
showed the same messages but not the fatal error.
I've upgraded CakePHP to version 1.3.14 and the Strict Standards errors
dissapeared but I kept getting the time zone warning and the fatal error
at the end. Surprisingly, I've configured the timezone and everything
works again.
This didn't happen with PHP 5.3.10. It seems that the combination of
PHP5.4.0, cakephp-instaweb, and the timezone default produced the fatal
error on my system.
After fixing the timezone I've installed your version (1.3.7) again and
everything runs fine, I don't get any warnings in the browser. I hope it
makes sense, it's a bit strange for me.
