Hi Jonathan, thanks for the suggestion, but I'd like to keep the two packages separated. My idea back then when contributors wanted add the sysvinit support was to have a package git-daemon-run and alternative implementations of that package that all Conflicts: git-daemon-run Replaces: git-daemon-run Provides: git-daemon-run just as done for mail-transport-agent.
