Package: debconf Version: 1.5.42 Severity: important Installed debconf 1.5.42 from unstable in a Wheezy system (to avoid the consequences of bug #560317 & related when running with option -a) and tried to run dpkg-reconfigure -a (having previously reconfigured debonf for minimum question priority 'low'). It ran for a while (with no error messages) but no questions were asked.
Got the same behavior running dpkg-reconfigure -a -p low -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages debconf depends on: ii perl-base 5.14.2-9 Versions of packages debconf recommends: ii apt-utils 0.8.15.10 ii debconf-i18n 1.5.41 Versions of packages debconf suggests: ii debconf-doc <none> ii debconf-utils <none> ii libgtk2-perl <none> ii libnet-ldap-perl <none> ii libqtcore4-perl 4.5~~svn1145508-2+b2 ii libqtgui4-perl 4.5~~svn1145508-2+b2 ii libterm-readline-gnu-perl <none> ii perl 5.14.2-9 ii whiptail 0.52.14-8 -- debconf information: debconf-apt-progress/preparing: * debconf/frontend: Dialog debconf-apt-progress/title: * debconf/priority: low debconf-apt-progress/info: debconf-apt-progress/media-change: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
