Package: sks Version: 1.1.1+dpkgv3-7 Severity: important Installed SKS on a system with db-util 5.1. On subsequent installs, the postinst script attempts to recover the database with db4.7_recover and fails.
One solution would be to drop the db4.7-util recommended version -- this would at least allow for reinstallation with compatible versions of BDB. Would be nice to detect and automatically upgrade an existing KeyDB as necessary. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers oneiric-updates APT policy: (500, 'oneiric-updates'), (500, 'oneiric-security'), (500, 'oneiric'), (100, 'oneiric-backports') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-16-generic (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages sks depends on: ii adduser 3.112+nmu1ubuntu5 add and remove users and groups ii db-util 5.1.4 Berkeley Database Utilities ii libc6 2.13-20ubuntu5.1 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libdb5.1 5.1.25-11 Berkeley v5.1 Database Libraries [ ii logrotate 3.7.8-6ubuntu5 Log rotation utility ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3ubuntu3 compression library - runtime Versions of packages sks recommends: ii db4.7-util 4.7.25-19ubuntu1 Berkeley v4.7 Database Utilities Versions of packages sks suggests: pn postfix | mail-transport-agen <none> (no description available) pn procmail <none> (no description available) -- Configuration Files: /etc/default/sks changed [not included] /etc/sks/sksconf changed [not included] -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
