Hallo Antoine, In Jan/Feb I was in contact with upstream about this topic and after the drizzle team discussed this internally they decided to drop the 7 after drizzle and use a drizzle-7.x.y scheme.
The last rc tarball (drizzle-7.1.31-rc.tar.gz) has already implemented this scheme; please see the release notes attached to this version at https://launchpad.net/drizzle/+download See here for some background: https://code.launchpad.net/~hingo/drizzle/drizzle-the-version-is-7.1-not-a-date-and-certainly-not-7/+merge/90809 So I will downgrade this bug and mark it won't fix, but keep it for documentation.
