konq-plugins is indeed obsoleted in unstable by kde-baseapps 4:4.7.4-2
(although I'm not sure what happened to konq-plugins-l10n):

So it appears that auto-cruft did the right thing here. However,
kde-baseapps hasn't migrated to testing yet, so the konq-plugins source
package is not obsolete *in testing*. Removing it from testing resulted
in the konq-plugins binary package (a leaf package) missing from testing.
If britney is simply removing source packages removed from unstable from
testing, there is clearly a problem. An alternative would be to exclude
auto-crufted packages from britney's removal attempts. I guess another
auto-cruft would have to be run on testing.
