Package: reportbug
Version: 3.7.1
Severity: wishlist

Hi!

As you may know, lots of people submitting ITPs forgets to fill the
required fields in the mail template (Version, Author, etc.). Then,
some d-devel subscriber will post a followup requiring this info.

I think reportbug could include some kind of notice reminding the
submitter to do so, with some markup to make it hard to miss it. A
patch with a possible wording is attached, please consider applying
  it.

  Thanks.

P.S.: For reference, some ITPs suffering from the above follow:
