I think the bug is reproducible. Here is what I found in my logs:

Feb  2 01:19:16 menek timeoutd[1331]: get_xidle(:0,) returned 0mins idle for 
user1.
Feb  2 01:19:16 menek timeoutd[1331]: get_xidle(:20,) returned 64mins idle for 
user2.
Feb  2 01:19:16 menek timeoutd[1331]: Exiting - Can't get status of user 
user1's terminal (pts/9)

Feb  1 06:45:52 menek timeoutd[3338]: get_xidle(:0,) returned 10mins idle for 
user2.
Feb  1 06:45:52 menek timeoutd[3338]: Could not connect to :20 to query 
idle-time for user1. Ignoring.
Feb  1 06:45:52 menek timeoutd[3338]: Received SIGSEGV.. Something went wrong! 
Exiting!
