Package: jack
Version: 3.1.1-1
Severity: normal

jack says that oggenc cannot do fixed bitrate but this isn't really
true:

1024:[EMAIL PROTECTED]: ...S.T.R/Masz To Jak W Banku] cat ~/.jack3rc
# jackrc-version:31
bitrate:90
vbr:0
1025:[EMAIL PROTECTED]: ...S.T.R/Masz To Jak W Banku] /usr/bin/jack -R -Q
This is jack 3.1.1 (C)2004 Arne Zellentin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
*warning* config file /etc/jackrc is of unknown version None.
*error* can't do CBR because oggenc doesn't support it. Use -v
zsh: exit 1 /usr/bin/jack -R -Q
1026:[EMAIL PROTECTED]: ...S.T.R/Masz To Jak W Banku] oggenc -b 90
track_01.wav
Opening with wav module: WAV file reader
Encoding "track_01.wav" to
         "track_01.ogg"
at approximate bitrate 90 kbps (VBR encoding enabled)
        [ 6.5%] [ 0m30s remaining] /

oggenc supports -b to set a bitrate so jack should also support this.

P. S. "CBR" is not clear. s/CBR/fixed bitrate/ would be better.
