Ok, I should sleep more, I was wrong in the last message : I forgot I use the sarge version of strace, so it worked, of course. I try again with the sid version, and it still segfault. Maybe it happens only with x86 system ? Unfortunately I can't give you more information ... or maybe by stracing strace itself :) Let me know how I can give you more information.
