Package: libevent1 Version: 1.0b-1.1 Severity: important
Hello, I recently upgraded libevent from version 0.8-2, and noticed that potion no longer works. Specifically, with version 1.0-1.1, potion crashes with the following message: potion: event.c:601: event_del: Assertion `!(ev->ev_flags & ~(0xf000 | 0x9f))' failed. With version 1.0b-1.1 installed, potion crashes with the following slightly different message: potion: event.c:614: event_del: Assertion `!(ev->ev_flags & ~(0xf000 | 0x9f))' failed. In both cases, the command line is: sudo potion eth0 The terminal is slightly hosed after the crash (the cursor disappears, and the aforementioned error messages don't start in column zero, but near the end of a line), so it is possible that there are other error messages which I am missing. The problem disappears if I downgrade to 0.8-2.
