Examples are coming. Are you comparing this against the current manpages in 0.12.0-pre2? Or the older ones in 0.11.8? They've been completely tossed, and rewritten (mostly) from scratch. > also I notice if one just types "u", nothing happens. either allow > abbreviations, or print an error message. document your policy too. I agree somewhat, but this isn't a list of files, so it can't mirror the output that you're used to with 'ls', since the Palm does not have "files" on it, in RAM or ROM. They are databases with records and resources, and not files with inodes and clusters and such. Your other points are well taken though, I'll see what I can do. You are reporting all of these in the _pilot-link_ bugtracker, right? Because so far, none of these are being tracked (and they'll probably be long forgotten once these messages are sent). > OPTIONS > While in dlpsh, you can always invoke 'help' or <option> --help to get > further information on that option. > > Wrong. this is not an OPTIONS. merge it into the list above. They most-certainly are options, and will remain so. dlpsh also runs in non-interactive mode, so this validates that. > USAGE > The program will connect to your Palm handheld and give the user an > interactive prompt (a "shell") for executing commands across the DLP > HotSync protocol. > > also add a example of one shot usage: > $ echo time | dlpsh This does absolutely nothing on 0.11.8 or 0.12.x, so I'm not sure what you'd expect it to do. That's also not something *ANY* user that I've ever spoken with in 9 years of using pilot-link, has ever even suggested trying, so I don't want to suggest that as an example. > Report bugs at http://bugs.pilot-link.org/ > > Also give email bug address!
