I'm not sure to understand what is your problem with the tab key, because the entry field get the focus before the "apply to all" button...
And if you want to jump from an entry field, to another one, just press the enter key...
So the order seems right for me...
Could you give more information?

The way I use EasyTag is editing one field and then applying the changes to all files (if appropriate), which is how 1.0 and previous versions worked.
