I tested the following things on several up-to-date Sarge: On different machines: - one dual-cpu k7 machine, with a 2.4.27-1-k7-smp kernel (uses ntop on a bonding interface) - one single-cpu k7 machine (the same as the previous one, but with only one CPU), with a 2.6.8-2-k7 kernel (no bonding) - one single-cpu P4 with HT, with a 2.6.8-2-686-smp kernel (bonding interface) - one single-cpu Celeron 366MHz, with a 2.6.8-2-686 kernel (no bonding)
On some of those machines, ntop is freshly installed, no risks of ntop files from another version. I tried also to change the shell of the user "ntop" from /bin/false to /bin/bash. And, I changed the "-a /var/lib/ntop/access.log" into "-a $LOGDIR/access.log" in the initscript. Still exactly the same error everywhere. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
