Why you think we shouldn't use /sys now?

IMHO, if we have the possibility to detect it directly in library is
the way to go. So we don't need to report bugs in all packages using
libgphoto2.

This is a really critical bugs for usability of the system. We can't
force the user to know about specific groups. We need at last report a
suitable error message for he decide what to do.
