Package: nagios-text Version: 2:1.3-cvs.20050116-1 Severity: normal Nagios sometimes thinks that all plugins return 127. The error message is "(Return code of 127 is out of bounds - plugin may be missing)".
No error message are sent, even if a service or host fails. I'm forced to restart nagios to get it fixed. I also have to remove /var/cache/nagios/status.sav in order to avoid receiving 150 "recovery" messages. You can see the status.cgi HTML output there at the time of the bug: http://cyril.bouthors.org/tmp/status.cgi.html -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages nagios-text depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgd2-xpm 2.0.33-1.1 GD Graphics Library version 2 ii libjpeg62 6b-9 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-1 PNG library - runtime ii nagios-common 2:1.3-cvs.20050116-1 A host/service/network monitoring ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime -- debconf information: nagios/warnmovedcommands: nagios/warncoords: * nagios/wwwsuid: true nagios/newapachecfg: nagios/upgradefromnetsaint: * nagios/configapache: Apache nagios/warnupgrade_5_6: -- Cyril Bouthors
