I am reassigning this to linux-wlan-ng. Dealing with linux-wlan-ng is a pain for me but also for users. Joey Hess refused to realize that, but bugreports m-a BTS page collects tell something different. I wrote a patch for linux-wlan-ng (see some archived bug report that the new maintainer closed without a real solution) to behave like other module-source packages do. I wrote even a script to work around its special way of instalation. However, I have no motivation to maintain that crap any more, and something changed since I wrote the linux-wlan-ng control script in m-a.
