After files are removed, cvs add'ing the same files make cvs to behave as if it had resurrected the files, but the files are still removed. cvs update will cause cvs to forget about the add again; a subsequent cvs add will cause cvs to again act as if it had resurrected the files, but the files are not resurrected. (The cvs server is running debian woody and is being accessed via pserver.)
