kde mime desktop file have 3 parameters "%s ..." when used with gnome-open (nautilus for example) it opens three times the kde application. Can you merge those and maybe up the severity of the gnome bug ? Thanks Alban PS: a kick fix is to set the default pdf viewer to the gnome one , or add the kde one via the open with other application menu.
