retitle 292018 clamav-milter: system blows up on shutdown; init script problem? thanks On Tue, Jan 25, 2005 at 12:17:19AM +0800, Andrew Shugg said: > Hi, > > I've got a Debian/i386 woody system where I've installed your clamav > backport packages, which was all working beautifully with 0.80. Yes, they do work well here, and I have not touched the init scripts since the 0.80 series - they should be identical. I would appreciate it if you could do the following: run 'sh -x /etc/init.d/clamav-milter stop > milter.output 2>&1' (without the single quotes, of course) mail me milter.output There is only one circumstance that I can think of that could cause this problem, but I have (I thought) coded around it, so if this code block is missing in your local copy, that may be the problem - I'll need to see the output to be sure. Perhpas also mailing me your /etc/init.d/clamav-milter so I can diff it would also be good.
