I've uploaded new binary packages to http://people.debian.org/~vorlon/274969/ using the patch provided by Christian Perrier in bug #286818, which we suspect to be the same problem. Can you try installing whichever of those packages you need (at least samba and samba-common) and let us know if it fixes the problem for you?
