Package: vimpart Version: 4:3.3.1-1 Severity: important Hi.
I have configured vimpart as described in the README file (see attached vimpartrc). I then tried to test it with Kompare, KDevelop, Kmail, Konqueror, but didn't see any change. I then looked a little more and notice that the embedded text editor could be set to "Embedded Vim Component", but that didn't do it either. I finally removed my .vimrc and .gvimrc, but, again, I still couldn't get a Vim editor embedded. From what I can tell, vimpart doesn't work. Is there any way (e.g. with dcop) that I can find more about what's going on?
