Now I understand that I misunderstood the feature. The Help page says: --- Begin finding as you begin typing When this preference is enabled, Firefox will find within the current web page what you type as you type it. While you are finding typed text in the page, the Find Toolbar will automatically display at the bottom of the window to show information about what you've found. --- I thought this meant that checking the box enabled the browser to perform *incremental* searches ('what you type as you type it'), not to perform such searches without the need to type '/'. So I was confused as searches were always incremental. Maybe something like 'Firefox fill start searching as soon as you type text'. And/or something like 'When this preference is not enabled, searches must be started explicitly (with / or Ctrl-F)' would be fine. The current text is a bit misleading in my opinion. Can this bug be changed to reflect that, or should I file a separate bug? Thanks, Victor -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
