1. I've repeated the bug even when mc was started previously. But it was still harder to reproduce it in that conditions. When started for the first time, the bug occurs nearly always. 2. Terminal emulator doesn't matter. I did it also on a fresh xterm window. Steps were the same (mc, enter, quick ctrl-s), backtrace also.
