Package: hdparm
Version: 5.8-1
Severity: normal

One of my systems have an aditionnal PCI IDE adapter (via pdc202xx_new)
I have configured /etc/hparm.conf with:
/dev/hde {
        dma=on
        interrupt_unmask = on
        io32_support = 1
}
/dev/hdg {
        dma=on
        interrupt_unmask = on
        io32_support = 1
}

but hde and hdg are never optimized at boot.
I have to manually run: /etc/init.d/hdparm restart
or hdparm -d 1 /dev/hde
in order to enable DMA on these drives.

I guess the pdc202 module is loaded after hdparm?
or anything else ?

regards
Christophe
