I used Konqueror -> Settings -> Configure Konqueror... -> Appearance -> Font size. I didn't recognize Konqueror -> Settings -> Configure Konqueror... -> Fonts. If the latter is the place to configure the font size, what is the Appearance -> Font size setting for? Why isn't the actual font size changed when changing Appearance -> Font size? In addition, the font size is too large as I already mentioned. After experimenting a bit with the X server's -dpi switch I've come to the conclusion that Konqueror's HTML viewer doesn't honor the X server's dpi setting but always assumes 100 dpi instead. So if you start the X server with -dpi 100, Konqueror works correctly. If you start the X server without the -dpi switch (as it is the default with KDM in Debian now), you get a setting of 75 dpi. This results in the HTML text being displayed (100 dpi - 75dpi) / 75 dpi = 33 % too large and you have to set Fonts -> Medium font size to 8 in order to get a font size of approximately 11. Best wishes, Wolfgang
