Package: xprt-common
Version: 0.1.0.alpha1-4
Severity: important

After doing an apt-upgrade, I cannot get an X session to start any more. When I
do

$ startx

in my home directory, the screen goes black for a few seconds.
Afterwards, the file .xsession.errors looks like this:

Xsession: X session started for dh at Fri Jan 14 09:48:44 CET 2005
/etc/init.d/xprint: 531: Syntax error: Bad substitution

This also happens when I move the ~/.xsession file out of the way. Also
I don't understand why a user session would invoke anything in
/etc/init.d

The only way for me to get into X is to remove the xprt packages.
