For me, it's not a really important bug, as I can easily switch my browser to avoid polipo if there is trouble with one web site. I did, and switched back later.

My design philosophy is that software should
preferably fail gently, so I'd like to see
polipo do something approximately right
than simply give up.  (But, if you do something
half-way rignt, it has to be logged...)
