I need some more information still. I understand how you are trying to end the processes (via a kill signal), but please provide me with more information about how you determine that data loss has occured. What data are you referring to, and how are you determining that loss has occured? It would help a lot if you provided the methodology you used to come to this conclusion so that I may replicate it and understand.
