after a uptime of several hours the system time suddenly starts to hop around, that means in the one moment it is correct, in the next moment some time in future, in the next moment it is correct again. then the monitor switches off and on again, System becomes unusable, every command needs a very long time to run (even things like 'ls' or switching from X to console).
