I'm sure it's technically possible, but is it really worth it? I mean
libopenct0 is 200K on your drive, is it really that much of a
burden. OpenSC could be rewritten to open those libs dynamically
rather than as a shared lib, but that would be quite a bit of work,
for a not a really strong benefit. 

If you really don't think people will want to use both openct and
libpcsclite, I could compile two different versions of opensc. One
with openct and one with pcsc. But I think there may be situations
where people want both, and again, is this all to just save 200K?
