Package: libsane Version: 1.0.15-? Severity: normal Hi. I have reported this bug upstream: http://www.linuxhacker.org/cgi-bin/ezmlm-cgi?3:mss:2671:fobjlafhpecmlbdppgbj (See the replies too.)
The backend maintainer seems to agree that it's a real bug. On the other hand - no fix yet. My "off the cuff" recommendation would to back off to the version of the plustek backend that is in 1.0.14 for the Debian package unless a patch comes out in time for the Sarge release. Perhaps the current version fixes some other scanner. It's kind of a double whammy for Debian users with an Epson 1260 since the version in Woody can do physical damage to the scanner... For anyone reading this report and looking for a solution - libsane 1.0.14 from Adrian Bunk's backports collection works well for this scanner - even with all of the other packages from sarge: http://www.fs.tum.de/~bunk/packages/woody/bunk-2.html Take care, Dale -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
