Package: cupsys Version: 1.1.23-1 Severity: normal Tags: patch Hi!
When lppasswd is invoked the first time, it just bails out with saying that the old passwd file could not be safed. No surprise, since none exists yet. I fixed this for ubuntu, this file can be put into debian/patches/ straight away: http://patches.ubuntu.com/patches/cupsys.lppasswd_noexistingconf.diff Martin -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages cupsys depends on: ii adduser 3.59 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf 1.4.30.11 Debian configuration management sy pn gs-esp Not found. ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an pn libcupsimage2 Not found. pn libcupsys2-gnutls10 Not found. ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-6 GCC support library ii libgnutls11 1.0.16-9 GNU TLS library - runtime library ii libpam0g 0.76-22 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libpaper1 1.1.14-3 Library for handling paper charact pn libslp1 Not found. ii patch 2.5.9-2 Apply a diff file to an original ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-3 compression library - runtime -- Martin Pitt http://www.piware.de Ubuntu Developer http://www.ubuntulinux.org Debian GNU/Linux Developer http://www.debian.org
