Severity: normal
Tags: patch

This addresses PR-#266359. Since the debian package specifies a default
'bellFile' in the Dclock.ad system file, a user is left with no means
to disable the spawning of an external audio player (if the user doesn't
have root access they won't be able to modify the Dclock.ad plus this
gives users the ability to control the invocation of the external player
on a multi-user system). The attached patch will allow the user to reset
the 'bellFile' option to look as though it was never specified (disabling
the external player) which will revert the audio to the default system bell.

With the patch this can easily be accomplished through,

  dclock*bell: true
  dclock*bellFile: NULL

Regards.
