Indeed.  I'm pretty much stuck with what libgnome is build against.
And since gnucash is one of the last GNOME-1 applications, the urgency
on the gnome maintainers to do anything is going to be pretty slim.

I fear that we may just have to wait until gnucash finally supports
gnome-2. ;(

Or... fix whatever problems in libdb3 are breaking those other archs.
