The dangling symlink problem of #269220 has been fixed in unstable, but is still present in the version currently in Sarge. This results in daily mails from cron with: /etc/cron.daily/man-db: mandb: warning: /usr/share/man/man1/strace64.1 is a dangling symlink I have considered prio Serious for this bug as I suspect this is a policy violation, but in the end decided not to as the problem can be quite easily fixed by system admins. However, I really think this kind of problem should be fixed before release (either by propagating unstable's version to Sarge or via t-p-u). -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: sparc (sparc64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-sparc64 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages strace depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libc6-sparc64 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: 64bit Shared librar -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
