The original project at https://foss.heptapod.net/python-libs/passlib
seems to be dead according

There exists a maintained fork at
https://github.com/ThirVondukr/passlib, that should also provide
compatibility with Python 3.13. I didn't check for code quality.
JFTR: In the meantime I have also filed an RFP for pdwlib, which seems to be a
(not full feature complete) alternative for passlib.
