Dear Maintainer,
freedoom can be run with many other engines. It should have a soft dependency
on the engines in debian.
Probably be split in to two packages.
1. a data package with a require on the other package
2. a package with the wrapper script and desktop file. With a depend on the
first and the debian engines.

Yes, of course it does. For average users, Freedoom is just a game and
they expect to be able to run the game once the package is installed.
They should not need to bother about the distinction between a game
engine and game assets.
Thus, the freedoom package depends on the virtual doom-engine package,
which in turn pulls in one of the Doom engines packaged in Debian. It
prefers dsda-doom, but if you don't like that, feel free to install any
other instead.
