ifup IFACENAME does not honor the line "dns-options trust-ad" in
/etc/network/interfaces.
That results, that this option is not taken over to /etc/resolv.conf,
when an interface is brought
up, which also defines an trusted dnssec nameserver.
Researching this problem it looks like, that
/etc/network/if-up.d/000resolvconf is not taking over
this information into resolv.conf.
The previous scriptlets are parsing /etc/network/interfaces correctly
and populating the environment
with the according variables.
However $IF_DNS_OPTIONS ist not written to resolv.conf.
Adding the following lines in /etc/network/if-up.d/000resolvconf line
30ff:
>if [ "$IF_DNS_OPTIONS" ] ; then
> R="${R}options $IF_DNS_OPTIONS
>"
>fi
will fix this problem.
Regards
Wolfgang
