Package: chromium
Version: 135.0.7049.52-1
Since a recent update of the chromium package, it is no longer possible
to input international characters (such as German letters Ä, Ö, Ü, ß)
with the right Alt key.
My keyboard layout setting is “English (intl., with AltGr dead keys)”
(configured via Gnome).
This only affects Chromium. Other GTK apps and Firefox are not
affected.
This affects input fields in HTML forms as well as the URL bar.
I do not know exactly with which version this started, but since I am
using Chromium for various chat and conference services (WhatsApp,
Teams, WebEx etc.), this could not be unnoticed for a long time.
Regards
Stephan
