Hi,
using a relay transport like

relay_transport = relay:[ipv6only.example.com]

where ipv6only.example.com only has a AAAA record but no A record gives:

9EDCC1612: to=<a...@sigxcpu.org>, relay=none, delay=0.05, delays=0.03/0.02/0/0,
dsn=5.4.4, status=bounced (Host or domain name not found. Name service error
for name=ipv6only.example.com type=A: Host found but no data record of
requested type).

It seems like postfix isn't expecting a ipv6 only entry here.
Cheers,

Hi!

It's been more than 12 years ago. A lot has changed in postfix
and in other software since that time. And postfix these days
appears to work with v6-only hosts just fine.

Let's close this bug report now finally.

Feel free to re-open it if you think it is incorrect and the problem
still applies to current postfix.

Thanks, and sorry it took so long..

/mjt
