Please consider if we can make a ppc64el specific binaries removal to get badger (and more importantly its reverse dependency caddy) back into testing. The binary packages build by badger are: * badger * golang-github-dgraph-io-badger-dev Badger is affected by (currently RC) bug #1078496 which is a ppc64el specific (spurious) test failure. It has also been reproduced and reported upstream: https://github.com/dgraph-io/badger/issues/2079 Apparently the interest in looking into this is close to non-existant. I assume the actual bug has existed forever and was just not caught by the tests until recently. I personally don't have ppc64el specific knowledge and/or time/interest to invest in adressing this. The alternative would be to disable tests (on ppc64el), which I find would be a worse solution than not providing the binary packages on this arch until someone shows interest. Please advice if I also need to file separate ppc64el removal bugs for: * garagemq (direct rdep) * caddy (indirect rdep) I assume these arch:all are not affected: * golang-github-smallstep-nosql * golang-github-smallstep-certificates Regards, Andreas Henriksson
