Package: pentium-builder
Version: 0.18
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

release : testing
priority: typo, probably upstream

in info::gcc::Preprocessor Options : -include FILE
Process FILE as input before processing regular input file.
In effect, contents of FILE are compiled first.

above sentence is not compatible with possibility to use -E =20
("preprocess only"),
however, i suspect that when -include FILE is used when compiling,
effect is same as when #including file in first line of first =20
    sourcefile ;
i tested this, and "cc -include file.h file.c" is indeed same as
            '#include ./file.h' in ./file.c ,
"cc file.h" makes compiler say "error: attempt to compile header
=20
               file",
so contents of file are not "compiled first", in effect.
                     so perhaps rephrase as :
"In effect, contents of FILE are inserted before first
line in first =20
                        input file,
as if an '#include <FILE>' were present there."
