Please remove this obsolete package from Debian.
Upstream hasn't seen a new release for more than 10 years.
The package provides useful character information based on version 5.1
of the Unicode standard. Unicode is continuously evolving, currently
at version 12.1.
Having such an (otherwise great) collection of tools that is so
obsolete is not only pointless, but is also harmful as users might
come across this outdated package first and waste time with it.
The binary hardwires the character database, rather than taking from
some external source which then could be updated separately. So I
don't see a reasaonable way of fixing this issue within uniutils.
The package "unicode" is a great replacement, using a fresh Unicode version.
