Hi,

when launching licensecheck in a nodejs module, I'd like to see
licensecheck reveals which license is used in package.json

Cheers,

If I understand you correctly and this bugreport is simply about
detecting the JSON syntax of license statements of file "package.json",
then it is fixed since libregexp-pattern-license-perl release 3.9.0.

If instead the issue really is about support for (not only file-based,
but also) project-wide license statements, then that is tracked as
bug#863954.

Kind regards,

 - Jonas
