Dear Maintainer,
nfoview currently Recommends the package fonts-cascadia-code which is
not packaged in stable version of debian. This is a policy violation.
Please fix thank you.

Thanks for reporting!
Note that package fonts-cascadia-code does exist in the archive [1]
and is in main, but happens to have been removed from testing because
of a bug [2] and thus isn't available in stable/bookworm.
That should not prevent anyone from installing or using nfoview
though, given that the dependency is merely recommended. Updating the
package in bookworm to remove fonts-cascadia-code would therefore not
make any real life difference: users would end up with nfoview
installed and working and fonts-cascadia-code not installed, same as
today.
In unstable meanwhile, there's nothing to fix (as fonts-cascadia-code
is present) other than the font package itself. Work for that appears
to be ongoing in the Fonts Team, see [3][4].
