Package: libgnutls28-dev
Version: 3.8.1-3
Severity: normal
File: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgnutlsxx.so
User: debian...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: adequate broken-symlink

libgnutls28-dev 3.8.1-3 introduced a broken symlink:

   /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgnutlsxx.so -> libgnutlsxx.so.30.0.0

This appears to be because the libgnutlsxx functionality switched
to a header-only library and removing the symlink was forgotten.

Here is some information about the symlink:

   $ adequate libgnutls28-dev
   libgnutls28-dev:amd64: broken-symlink
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgnutlsxx.so -> libgnutlsxx.so.30.0.0
   $ readlink /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgnutlsxx.so
   libgnutlsxx.so.30.0.0
   $ chase /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgnutlsxx.so
   chase: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgnutlsxx.so.30.0.0: No such file or
directory
   $ apt-file search gnutlsxx
   libgnutls28-dev: /usr/include/gnutls/gnutlsxx.h
   libgnutls28-dev: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgnutlsxx.a
