Package: libfam0
Version: 2.7.0-17
Severity: important
libfam0 exports the symbols for a C++ class "Client" even though these symbols
are not part of the actual libfam API. They needless clutter the global symbol
namespace, for example causing a crash in Kopete
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=268056) which loads an internal library
that also exports such a class, resulting in symbol collision.
Installing gamin instead of libfam fixes the problem, because gamin does not
export these symbols. libfam should be patched to hide the internal C++
classes.
