Package: src:ido
Severity: serious
The IDO shared lib (Indicator Display Objects) is deprecated in Debian
and shall be phased out during the buster release cycle.
Applications using it (mostly indicator renderers) shall switch over
to src:ayatana-ido instead. The following renderers of indicators have
already been ported to ayatana-ido:
mate-indicator-applet
xfce4-indicator-plugin
Another renderer has a bug with a patch filed:
budgie-indicator-applet
So, the current status is: Once that budgie-indicator-applet has been
ported, src:ido can be removed from Debian.
