Package: qemu-system-gui
Version: 1:3.1+dfsg-2

When running a Qemu machine with "-display gtk" then selecting

Menu-bar -> View -> Detach tab

and

Menu-bar -> View -> Fullscreen

will then display the menu bar into fullscreen mode, not the virtual
machine window.

I'm not sure this is a bug. It is not a menu bar, it is the monitor
window or serial line or whatever (there are several "windows" in
there). And "Fullscreen" toggles the current window, which, after
you detached the guest console, is whatever left.

If you want to detach another window, switch to it first and detach,
this way guest console will stay with the menu bar.

I think the whole thing works as intended. If you think it should
work some other way, I'd suggest sending email to qemu-devel@ for
discussion. I definitely wont change upstream behavour, unless it
is a clear bug.

Thanks,

/mjt
